Kobler nahm den Preis anl\u00e4sslich des 4. Europ\u00e4ischen Symposiums zum Schutz des Nachtimmels in Paris entgegen. Er ist massgeblich daf\u00fcr verantwortlich, dass die ersten Kantone und viele Gemeinden nun konkrete Massnahmen zum Schutz des Nachthimmels unternehmen. Seine F\u00e4higkeit Probleme bis zur Ursache zu analysieren, konstruktive L\u00f6sungen zu finden und diese entsprechend zu kommunizieren, bringt im ‚Verb\u00fcndete und keine Feinde‘ zur Vermeidung von Lichtverschmutzung.<\/p>\n

IDA Press Release Kobler is originally an architect by profession and was confronted first with light pollution while photographing the night-sky in the Swiss Alps.\u00a0 He decided to focus entirely on light pollution and quit his job to study environmental engineering and science to obtain a postgraduate degree in this field.<\/p>\n He is currently building an expert center for light pollution at the Institute of Environmental Technology in the Canton of Basel. The aim is also to better understand the multidisciplinary aspects of the effects of light pollution and to further develop strategies for its prevention.<\/p>\n His ability to analyze problems to the base, find constructive solutions, and to communicate them accordingly wins him \u2018allies, not enemies\u2018.<\/p>\n Ren\u00e9 L.
